We were appointed by the online retailer Matchesfashion.com to carry out a complete rebrand of the company which was to coincide with the launch of the new website. The new retail identity developed, brought a unifying and cohesive brand strategy to the stores and online.

The identity is currently being implemented across all branded material including gift packaging, carrier bags, jewellery packaging, ticketing, marketing collateral, point of sale, general signage, van livery, seasonal press pack, brand guidelines and the website. OCO art direct the brands bi-annual Style report magazine. 

For the last 4 years we have been working with them on an on-going basis to redefine their visual language both internally and externally. We have just designed and launched an ECO friendly packaging range for the brand.

OCO were asked to design the brand identity for the high end luxury fashion brand RAEY. Set to go on sale in January 2015, the new men’s and womenswear line from Matchesfashion.com will be exclusively available online and in store at Matchesfashion.com

Creative director Rachael Proud (Ex Design Director at Christopher Kane) is in charge of the modern, minimalist line. Our solution sought to reflect these core brand values of modernism and minalmism.

Long Tall Sally approached us to revisit their brand identity, packaging and website. Our design solution provided Long Tall Sally with a confident, modern brand. The tired brand colours of 'purple and white' were eradicated across all platforms and replaced with a clean and timeless black and white palette. Due to negative connotations associated with carrying a LTS carrier bag - we decided to remove the logotype from the front of all packaging and instead replace with positive messaging. We approached the design of the website/ interface with the same principles. An overall clean colour palette and simple direct typography with positive messaging across all brand touchpoints, from homepage, category pages through to checkout and emails. The site was fully responsive  allowing desktop webpages to be viewed in response to the size of the screen or web browser the customer was using.

We designed and developed an identity and packaging concept for a Russian Polo manufacturer. The elements we designed included the logotype, brand motif, swing tickets, labels, buttons, promotional collateral including, brochures, agents presentation pack kit and fabric swatch books.

For the last year we have been working with East on an on-going basis to re-define their identity and visual language across all brand touch-points both internally, externally and online. The new retail identity developed has brought a unifying and cohesive brand strategy to the stores and online.

We are currently implementing in phases the new identity and brand vision across all branded material including website, packaging, ticketing, marketing collateral, point of sale, general signage, van livery, seasonal press pack and brand guidelines.

We relaunched the iconic British eyewear brand Kirk Originals. This included the crafting and styling of the brand identity, packaging and web. The product is set at a premium level and is hand made in the Jura Mountains from luxury acetate and acrylics.

We designed and developed a brand identity and promotional collateral for  the Belfast based animation company Cherry and Lime. The company offer a broad range of creative services including Animation, Video Production, Design, Motion Graphics and a range of Social Media Consultancy services

Caractère, the Italian based fashion company approached us to work with them to create a new visual philosophy for their retail identity. We were comissioned to re-define the Caractère image which would enable the company to extend its existing customer base and attract a more sophisticated consumer. This created an identity and environment which encompasses the freshness and confidence of their collection while giving it the contemporary authority it required. We delivered a concept that included identity, packaging, POS, art direction & advertising, that allowed the brand to expand globally and communicated an assured,elegant, feminine image.

The London Bed Company part of the Furniture Village Group and Selfridges asked us to coordinate the brand identity of their 4th floor concession in the Oxford Street store. We generated a new identity and visual philosophy for the London Bed Company to use within Selfridges, to complement the new interior treatment. Taking the existing name, a new contemporary logo was created. 

In conjunction with this we commissioned a series of photographs showing people in various states of sleep and to add atmosphere, ephemeral images of rich textures and fabrics. These images were then applied to the walls and the hanging voiles. The new identity was carried through to the point of sale, ticketing and packaging. The overall solution embraces and reflects Selfridge’s unique image of quality and contemporary style.

Working closely with Din Interiors, we designed the graphics for the V&A’s major autumn exhibition, Gothic: Art for  England 1400-1547. This was the most comprehensive exhibition ever staged of late medieval art from the reign of Henry IV to the reign of Henry VIII.

To convey the themes of the exhibition and add drama we developed a unique marque for the exhibition inspired by the texture, colour and print of the period. We collaborated with the photographer Richard Green and created a series of atmospheric, ephemeral images. This imagery was then applied to leaflets, banners, wall graphics and invitations.

Brand identity, including logo, labeling, packaging and promotional material, for a Turkish homeware and rug store on the King’s Road, London. Stepevi, is a young modern urban interiors concept selling coordinated rugs and accessories for the home. The concept was to create a ‘strong’ and distinctive brand which capitalised on the strong traditions of manufacturing in Turkey without labouring the historic and cultural references.

We were appointed to carry out a complete review of The National Gallery retail and cafe brand identity to coincide with the launch of the new East Wing extension which included a shop and a cafe. The concept was to create an identity that reinforced The National Gallery’s central mission statement, ‘Every Purchase Supports The National Gallery’.

We used elements inspired by architecture and combined them with a contemporary, typographic style and sophisticated colour palette.

Coast the UK based fashion company approached us to work with them on an on-going basis to redefine their visual language both internally and externally. Application is across all in-store communications, advertising, packaging, environment and online. The seasonal campaigns are rolled out across all stores in Europe and the Middle East

The project commenced in 1997 housed within a neglected Grade II* listed Palladian style stable block within the Althorp estate. It was to include a museum and exhibition celebrating the life of Diana Princess of Wales. Working closely with the Estate and the lead interior consultants, we created a new identity and developed the packaging for their product ranges, including the shop and cafe range. We were also commissioned to design and implement the graphics for the exhibition. This included the design of caption panels, labels, theme panels and information panels. We were also asked to design and implement directional signage for the grounds of Althorp Estate to assist in the orientation/ circulation of the visitors. The primary marque was inspired by the Spencer family coronet. Princess Dianas’ preferred textures, colours and imagery inspired the solution for the new identity, packaging and overall feel of the exhibition.
